Keiki get ready to perform at the Live Aloha Festival - Sept. 13th, 2015.
2015 Live Aloha at Seattle Center (I Love my `Ukulele) will feature keiki under the age of 15 yrs. throughout the NW. A Beginner keiki should know the basic chords (C-F-G) and own a ukulele.
The child need not belong to a group (halau,canoe club,scouts,etc.) There are 3 songs (fun kind) and maybe, a combined hula.

Annual Potluck Summer Gathering at Fairhaven Marine Park in Bellingham from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. Bring your favorite dish to share, see old friends or meet new friends. There will be activities for the Keiki (Children), Raffle and this year we are inviting vendors to show their arts & craft items. Bring your Ukulele, Dance or favorite instrument and join in KANIKAPILA !! (Jam Session).
Northwest Hawai`i `Ohana Dance Company offers Spring and Fall Hula Classes, after each session students have the opportunity to share what they’ve learned at the NWHO Dance Company Ho`ike (Recital).
After each spring classes students perform their Ho`ike at the Bridge of Aloha Festival. Fall Ho`ike, we host a Ho`ike and Luau Dinner there the students gets to share what they've learned. We also invite other performers to join in the evening of performances.
Students will also have the opportunity to perform at other events.
Northwest Hawai'i `Ohana has new volunteer positions available for anyone and everyone who has the interest, dedication, and time to help out an organization whose mission is "to preserve, honor and perpetuate the unique blend of cultures found throughout the Hawaiian Islands".
